Started in 2024, Penguin Health Solutions is all about keeping workers safe and healthy. Our clients are in tough industries like mining, quarrying, minerals processing (including refining and smelting), construction, infrastructure projects, transport, defence, healthcare and government. And that means they’ve got tough WHS challenges. Our goal is to provide streamlined, simple, end-to-end solutions to handle it all.
The name ‘Penguin Health Solutions’ was inspired by a big win we had with ‘Project Penguin’. This project focused on reducing worker exposures to chemicals that can cause cancer at an industrial site near a fairy penguin colony in Tasmania, Australia. ‘Project Penguin’ brought together health experts, maintainers, engineers and on-site teams, showing how teamwork and innovation can make a real difference.

I’m Julie Moore, the owner and a Certified Occupational Hygienist. With nearly 20 years in the field, I started out helping injured workers get back on their feet. Since diving into occupational hygiene in 2013, I’ve worked in these tough industry sectors like defence, agriculture, rail and mining. In 2023, I was thrilled to be named the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) Draeger Young Hygienist of the Year.
